Position: Systems Engineer – Integration and Test
Location: Aurora, CO
Overview: This role supports the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (SISR) business units. The Systems Engineer will integrate, verify, and validate complex systems to ensure they meet mission requirements.
Security clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph, active and transferable, required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers developing industry‑leading ground systems solutions.
- Perform integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team within the Command and Control (C2) domain.
- Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and work with engineers to drive resolution.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts to support system verification and validation.
- Troubleshoot and debug system issues to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Work within an Agile program environment to support development and delivery objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with software integration and testing in an Agile CI/CD environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and test automation tools.
- Hands‑on integration and test engineering experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging software‑based systems or products.
- Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Python, and/or Perl.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Satellite Ground System development or operations.
- Development experience within mission management ground systems or space‑based ISR platforms.
- Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Gherkin, and Zephyr.
- Experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux, and cloud‑based environments.
