Job summary

Sawdey Solution Services, a government contracting firm, seeks a senior systems engineer to lead and contribute to system planning, analysis, design, modification and implementation at Nellis AFB, NV. This on-site role requires hands-on technical leadership and coordination with project teams.

Required: 10 years in the field, VMware vSphere, VROps, VM Log Insight, VM Network Insight, Linux Red Hat, Docker and Kubernetes; IAT Level II; Microsoft/Red Hat/VMware certifications preferred; US

Qualifications

• Must have 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, VROps, VM Log Insight, VM Network Insight; Linux Red Hat, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• IAT Level II certification required; Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware certifications preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with customers; proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform system engineering tasks including system planning, analysis, design, modification, conversion, and implementation as task lead, functional lead, or individual contributor.
• Perform highly advanced engineering activities in the design, integration and analysis of complex systems.
• Support planning, scheduling, conducting and/or coordinating detailed phases of projects.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position $91,000 - $123,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. About the Role:

Experience Requirements:

• Must have 10 years' experience in relevant field
• Must have experience with VMWare vSphere, VROps, VM Log Insight, VM Network Insight; MS Enterprise Products (Server etc.) Linux Red Hat, Docker, Kubernetes

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements:

• IAT Level II certification required
• Microsoft, Red Hat, VMWare certifications preferred

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

• Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Secret Clearance

Must be able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance

US Citizenship Requirements:

This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
