Job summary

Sawdey Solution Services is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to lead and contribute to system planning, analysis, design, modification, and implementation on a DoD contract. You will work as task lead or individual contributor on complex projects requiring deep integration knowledge.

Candidates should have 10+ years in the field, experience with VMWare, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and strong client communication skills; U.S. citizenship and clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in system engineering or related field.
• Experience with VMWare vSphere, VROps, VM Log Insight and VM Network Insight.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced system engineering tasks including planning, analysis, design, modification and implementation as lead or contributor.
• Support planning, scheduling and coordinating detailed project phases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The annual base salary range for this position $91,000 - $123,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. About The Role

Perform system engineering tasks including activities such as system planning, analysis, design, modification, conversion, and implementation as task lead, functional lead, or individual contributor.

Additional Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Perform highly advanced engineering activities in the design, integration and analysis of complex systems.
• Support planning, scheduling, conducting and/or coordinating detailed phases of projects.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Experience Requirements

• Must have 10 years’ experience in relevant field
• Must have experience with VMWare vSphere, VROps, VM Log Insight, VM Network Insight; MS Enterprise Products (Server etc.) Linux Red Hat, Docker, Kubernetes

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Certificate, License, And Registration Requirements

• IAT Level II certification required
• Microsoft, Red Hat, VMWare certifications preferred

Other Required Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
