Job summary

Trilliant Health seeks a Systems Engineer III to maintain and evolve our IT infrastructure across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud/on‑prem environments. You will ensure security, reliability, and scalable operations while collaborating with software engineering teams on deployments and performance optimizations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of systems or network administration experience, strong scripting, and hands-on experience with endpoint management, CI/CD, and data platforms.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems and/or network administration experience.
  • Experience supporting hybrid Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
  • Strong networking knowledge including firewalls, VPNs, switching, routing, and network security.
  • Experience with Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint management and MDM solutions.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as SCCM, Group Policy, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
  • Experience with scripting using PowerShell and/or Bash.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience monitoring enterprise environments using Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, Zabbix, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases and modern data platforms.
  • Experience integrating systems using REST APIs, GraphQL, FHIR, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across Windows, macOS, Linux, Azure, and on-prem environments.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and QoS.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, security updates, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Automate administrative tasks through scripting and modern DevOps tools.
  • Manage endpoint devices using MDM platforms including Intune, Autopilot, JAMF, or Addigy.
  • Support identity and privileged access management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams on infrastructure, integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization.
  • Support cloud and virtualization technologies while helping scale our growing environment.
  • Assist with hardware/software lifecycle management, vendor relationships, and IT budgeting.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and system standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

As a Systems Engineer III, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and evolving Trilliant Health’s infrastructure while ensuring our systems remain secure, reliable, and scalable.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:
