Job summary

RTX in Tucson, Arizona, seeks a Systems Engineer to develop and verify complex guided and autonomous systems across hardware and software. You will lead MBSE-enabled architecture, requirements, and integration efforts within SE&TC, collaborating with software, hardware, and test teams.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain, U.S. citizenship, and at least 2 years of relevant engineering experience. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years engineering experience.
• Engineering experience in Autonomy, Controls, Robotics, Navigation, Embedded Systems, EO/IR Sensors, or Real-Time Systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve system and subsystem requirements for hardware and software.
• Create system architectures and interface definitions using MBSE tools like Cameo.
• Lead updates to requirements specifications with traceability to verification objectives.
• Guide system-level integration and cross-team collaboration.
• Plan and execute verification and validation strategies for qualification testing.
• Conduct trade studies and present findings to leadership and customers.
• Support troubleshooting, failure analysis and performance evaluation.
