Job summary

RTX is seeking a skilled professional in Tucson, AZ to support aerospace and defense programs. The role focuses on depot functions, sustainment planning, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering disciplines to ensure long-term product readiness.

The candidate will engage in reviews and provide inventory recommendations, while coordinating with operations for repair work and backlog resolutions. A master’s degree in STEM and readiness for SAP clearance are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in STEM by start date.
• Experience or coursework in System Design.
• Experience with depot functions and/or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Synchronize depot functions – receive/induction, spares provisioning, repairs, end-item and subassembly, plant clearance, sales and shipping.
• Provide sustainment engineering support for development and legacy programs to achieve long-term sustainment strategies.
• Act as a liaison with Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Test, Materials & Processes, and Structural design functions.
• Assist with supportability analyses and provide inventory recommendations.
• Collaborate across factory and logistics teams to resolve shipping backlogs.
• Coordinate with Depot Coordinator and Operations to facilitate factory hardware repair work.
• Engagement in peer reviews, program reviews, design reviews, failure review boards, investigation teams, warranty claims and working groups.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance.
