The System Design & Architecture (SD&A) Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within RMD, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE). The Land Warfare and Missile Defense Department supports Raytheon by providing world class technical expertise and engineering leadership to drive the design and development of world-class Air and Missile Defense Systems, Sensors, and Effectors. This department leads all aspects of Systems Engineering that drives the development of complex systems to support Raytheon’s Land Warfare and Air Defense (LWAD) mission areas from our McKinney, TX location. Systems Engineers within this department solve technical challenges at the System of System (SoS), System, Subsystem, and Component levels. Key technical domains include:
You will perform analysis's, architecture and design at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. You will perform functional analysis's, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. You will provide analysis's for the decomposition of customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements, and develops verification criteria and plans for the requirements. You will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total system solutions.
The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
