Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a candidate in the United States (McKinney, TX onsite) to develop model-based solutions and operate mission simulations for complex threat environments. The role requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, plus an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

What You Will Do

• Participating in the development and implementation of model-based solutions to support mission trade studies using mission and engagement level simulations.

• Participating in technical reviews with internal and external customers.
• You will contribute and collaborate in a team environment, receiving input from the program, external customers, or team experts, and work on projects, as you determine, develop, and implement analytic approaches that will generate the supporting data to inform programmatic decisions.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• Experience working with scripting languages including Python, MATLAB, Bash, or other common languages.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience in Sensors (RADARS, EOIR, etc.), Network Communications, Weapons/Effects (Missiles, Projectiles), Command & Control, and/or Resource Management.
• Experience with Military Operations Analysis, Modeling & Simulation experience in the defense industry, and/or data analysis & visualization.
• Experience with standard government modeling tools including AFSIM, Suppressor, Brawler, or similar tools.
• Ability to understand tactics as described by military experts and to represent their employment (verbally, graphically, and in simulations).
• Familiar with performing data analysis and statistics with large volumes of data.Familiar with Numerical Optimization Techniques, Analysis of Alternatives, or Design of Experiments.
• Experience providing briefs and presentations to US government customers.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
