Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corp seeks a Systems Engineer II to build on core skills in MBSE, V&V, and systems integration. You will conduct system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management with limited supervision, contributing to and sometimes leading project tasks across architecture and lifecycle management.

Strong collaboration with stakeholders is essential as you develop solutions and support organizational objectives in the MST business area for defense and national security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems/Electrical/Mechanical Eng. or related field.
• 2+ years in systems engineering or related field.
• Higher degree may substitute for experience.
• Proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools.
• Knowledge of requirements management, derivation, allocation and V&V principles.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate tasks in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.
• Lead smaller project tasks and support larger components.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
