Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is hiring for a role focused on supporting and maintaining our systems infrastructure across hardware and software platforms. You will monitor performance, plan upgrades, and collaborate with architects to design scalable solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of server technology experience, strong communication, and cloud expertise (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS). You will support AD, Okta, IAM services and drive security best practices across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with server technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience working in cloud services (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS).
• Experience with storage architecture and virtualization.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and understand cross-domain requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain systems infrastructure including hardware and software.
• Monitor systems performance and recommend changes and upgrades based on utilization.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades to systems.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects to assist with systems design.
• Assist administrators in the implementation of systems infrastructure.
• Provide support and assistance to OD users for systems needs.
• Assist in supporting server hardware infrastructure and hardware and software solutions on multiple hardware platforms.
• Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosis of enterprise systems issues.
• Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to architectural solutions.
• Administer and support Active Directory environments.
• Manage and support Okta Identity Cloud.
• Administer Google Cloud Identity and IAM services.
• Administer AWS IAM users, roles, policies, federated identities, and access controls.
• Enforce IAM security standards and best practices.
• Assist in remediation of security findings related to identity platforms.
