Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to support and maintain the organization’s systems infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. You will manage Active Directory, IAM services, and identity platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and security.

The role requires strong server experience, cloud services knowledge (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS), and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with server technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain systems infrastructure, hardware and software.
• Monitor performance and recommend upgrades based on utilization.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades to systems.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects for system design.
• Assist administrators in implementing systems infrastructure.
• Provide support and assistance to OD users for systems needs.
• Assist with server hardware and software solutions across platforms.
• Troubleshoot enterprise systems issues.
• Maintain knowledge of current technologies and trends in architecture.
• Administer and support Active Directory environments
• Manage and support Okta Identity Cloud
• Administer Google Cloud Identity and IAM services
• Administer AWS IAM users, roles, policies, and access controls
• Enforce IAM security standards
• Assist in remediation of security findings related to identity platforms
