Job summary

V2X, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join our Engineering team, supporting development and integration of complex software/firmware/hardware systems for airborne and ground platforms. You will work within an IPT, contributing to requirements management, architecture, test procedures, and execution to ensure mission-critical solutions.

Travel up to 25% may be required. The ideal candidate has at least two years of related engineering experience, strong communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in systems, software, or hardware engineering.
• Familiarity with requirements development, hardware/software integration, and verification.
• Experience with development, integration, and testing for air/sea/ground platforms.
• Experience with test execution and test plan/procedure development.
• Ability to support trade studies and analyze technical data.
• Understanding of technical standards and problem-solving principles.
• Ability to collaborate in multi-discipline teams.
• Self-driven with accountability and schedule discipline.
• MS Office proficiency and strong communication skills.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and passport.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements management, system architecture, test procedures, and test execution.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional IPT to deliver high-quality solutions for DoD platforms.
• Support DoD customers and international allies while maintaining programmatic schedules.
