Job summary

Information Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Red Hat OpenShift administrator to oversee the health, performance, and stability of OpenShift clusters and support a team delivering custom applications for the U.S. Government.

This onsite role offers a chance to grow technical skills within a small, agile team. Responsibilities include deploying OpenShift clusters, monitoring health, configuring security and access controls, and performing updates and backups to maintain stability.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of proven experience managing and deploying OpenShift environments.
• 3-5 years of proven experience with Linux administration and in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as engineering or mathematics or years of experience

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters for on-premises environments.
• Monitor cluster health and performance while troubleshooting and fixing node or application errors.
• Configure security settings, user access rules, and network policies to protect the cluster.
• Perform regular updates, software patches, and system backups to keep the platform stable.

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a candidate with RedHat OpenShift administrator experience to oversee the health, performance, and stability of OpenShift clusters and support a team delivering custom applications for the U.S. Government. We are looking for a professional with relevant experience and a desire to work as part of a small, agile team supporting existing applications. This role offers a strong opportunity to expand technical skills while making a meaningful impact on U.S. Government efforts.

This position is 100% onsite.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Deploy and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters for on-premises environments.
