Job summary

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking an OpenShift Administrator to oversee the health, performance, and stability of OpenShift clusters on on-premises environments. You will support a small, agile team delivering government applications and help expand your technical skill set.

The role is 100% onsite in the U.S. Government project environment, with strong focus on security, patching, backups, and cluster optimization.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of proven experience managing and deploying OpenShift environments.
• 3-5 years of proven experience with Linux administration and in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters for on-premises environments.
• Monitor cluster health and performance while troubleshooting and fixing node or application errors.
• Configure security settings, user access rules, and network policies to protect the cluster.
• Perform regular updates, software patches, and system backups to keep the platform stable.
