Job summary

VT Group (VTG) seeks a Systems Engineer to support a technical development program focusing on Entitlement Programs, IdAM/ICAM, and Digital Policy Management. The role involves collaboration with a large team of developers, software engineers, and data engineers to build, test, and monitor systems.

The position requires experience with cloud services, SQL, Linux administration, and security accreditation processes.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Experience with cloud services and AWS
Experience with Linux administration and security tooling
Familiarity with RMF, NIST accreditation processes and POAM tracking

Responsibilities

Build outs, testing, maintenance, and monitoring of systems
Requirements Decomposition
Ensure designs are compatible with the architecture and allocated requirements to segments
Address user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate and improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, requirements allocation, and interfaced definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Identify system integrity issues and solutions for the full system life cycles from concept to disposal
Integrate systems and services as well as summarize and communicate results
Support the development, documentation, and execution of system policies
Support the ATO / Accreditation effort for customer systems and applications
