Job summary

RTX, a major aerospace and defense company, is hiring a Systems Engineer I for its GETC-PR site in Aguadilla, PR. The role focuses on verification and validation testing for Collins radio products, working onsite five days a week. U.S.

citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance are required. You will create test reports, update procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support mission-critical programs.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with <2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, verification, validation, technical documentation).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required to access program/contract information; ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run verification and validation test procedures for Collins radio products and related equipment.
• Create and update test reports; document issues and coordinate with design teams for improvements.
• Develop and maintain test procedures and documentation as part of the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers on project development.
