Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX business, is seeking a Systems Engineer I in Aguadilla, PR, onsite to support V&V testing of radio products. The role sits at the GETC-PR site and requires residency in Puerto Rico; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, design, integration, verification, validation, and technical documentation.
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance after start date.

Responsibilities

• Run test procedures for radio products or associated ancillary equipment to verify or validate equipment functionality.
• Create test reports, identify and document equipment issues, communicate with the design team about equipment performance and improvements.
• Create or update test procedures and documentation part of the lifecycle development of the units under test.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers for projects development, strengthening systems engineering skills.
