Job summary

Phoenix Defense, LLC. in Orlando seeks a Systems Engineer I to support DoD programs, performing high-level systems analysis, design, and MBSE-driven architectures.

You will work with senior engineers, gather requirements, and ensure traceability, interoperability, and security across complex system-of-systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 2–3 years' experience, Agile experience, Java/C++ skills, and a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computer or information science field is required.
• 2–3 years of IT/project support experience.
• Experience in an Agile development environment is preferred.
• Java and/or C++ experience is required.
• Experience modeling systems with UML/SysML.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior management and DoD customers.
• Develop system architectures, designs, and interface definitions.
• Manage architecture communication and documentation.
• Model complex systems using SysML/UML in MBSE tools.
• Perform requirements analysis and traceability.
• Contribute to all phases of system development.
