Job summary

RTX, Collins Aerospace division, seeks an entry-level Systems Engineer for our Aguadilla, PR location in a hybrid role. You will contribute to system requirements, MBSE modeling, and verification efforts across hardware and software, with Jira-driven agile workflows.

The role emphasizes developing SysML models, deconstructing customer requirements, and maintaining traceability while collaborating with a growing engineering team in Puerto Rico. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, decompose, allocate, and trace system and subsystem requirements.
• Design, develop, and verify system models using SysML diagrams and use cases.
• Develop and verify test procedures at system/subsystem levels.
• Support system integration, troubleshooting, and verification across hardware/software.
• Utilize JIRA to decompose features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
