Role Overview
The Systems Engineer I will be part of a global team developing and integrating Drop-on-Demand (DoD) printer systems.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer needs into clear system and software requirements, primarily software-related.
- Author and maintain functional and requirements specifications, ensuring requirements are well-defined and traceable.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, electrical, and mechanical teams during reviews and development.
- Define system architecture, interfaces, and behavioral descriptions.
- Support verification, validation, and requirements lifecycle management using tools like Jira.
- Stay updated on industry trends in embedded systems and printing technology.
Qualifications & Skills
- Hands‑on experience with embedded firmware development (C/C , RTOS) and hardware design.
- Experience with hardware‑firmware co‑design, PCB debugging, and system specifications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering.
- Minimum 3–4 years engineering experience, with 1–2 years in systems engineering preferred.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools and systems engineering practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate ambiguous inputs into structured requirements.
- Knowledge of inkjet/DoD printing technology is highly desirable.
