Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a motivated technician to join the Imaging & Logistics team. The role supports device imaging, configuration, testing, inventory management, staging, and deployment for customer-facing technology solutions.

You will work closely with the team to prepare, validate, track, and ship hardware while ensuring security compliance and timely delivery to customers and government locations. The ideal candidate has IT-related education or experience and a willingness to obtain

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• 0-3 years experience in IT support, hardware deployment, device imaging, logistics, warehouse operations, or technical operations.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain required security clearances and access credentials.

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, and deploy desktops, tablets, and similar hardware devices.

• Apply asset tags, maintain inventory records, and ensure asset accountability.

• Troubleshoot imaging, configuration, and hardware issues and elevate when needed.
• Follow documented procedures, security requirements, and quality control standards.
• Support programs requiring state, federal, CJIS, or customer-specific security requirements.
• Obtain and maintain required security clearances, background investigations, and access credentials necessary to support assigned programs.
• Support operational improvement initiatives and special projects.

Description

The role, within the Imaging & Logistics team, supports device imaging, configuration, testing, inventory management, staging, and deployment activities for customer-facing technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience supporting government, regulated, or security-sensitive programs.
