Job summary

Konik seeks a Systems Engineer to collaborate with clients to define requirements and perform high-level system design for complex electro-mechanical products. You will provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams on multidisciplinary projects from concept to implementation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in related roles, a strong MBSE background, and the ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong background in technical leadership of complex system design.
• Ability to obtain secret security clearance and to work in an ITAR-compliant setting.

Responsibilities

• Create and carry out systems engineering evaluations and trade studies and make implementation recommendations.
• Convert client needs into specifications.
• Organize and/or carry out modifications and additions to hardware, software, and associated systems.
• Directly supports daily operations of developing complex hardware in harsh environments.
• Participates in planning, design, evaluation, and implementation of new operating systems and hardware.
• Provide engineering employees with technical direction, instruction, and support.
