You will lead cross-functional teams, define requirements, and ensure robust testing and validation within a fast-paced, security-minded environment. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge autonomy, AI, and sensor-fusion technologies as part of a broader defense program.

Qualifications

• Passion for systems design, development, integration, and testing.
• 2–6 years of industry experience in electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering.
• Familiarity with Cameo or similar systems modeling tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Agile environments.
• Hands-on prototyping and build experience of complex robotic systems.
• Experience developing automated test scripts using Python or MATLAB.
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, with strong verbal & written communication.
• Commitment to a positive, inclusive, collaborative culture.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and onsite at Costa Mesa, CA HQ.

Responsibilities

• Lead development for an end-to-end solution with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components meeting performance in complex environments.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability and scalability of software in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers to integrate software and hardware.
• Define and document software processes, ensuring adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.
