Job Description

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a full‑time Early Career Systems Engineer. In this role, you will utilize systems engineering tools such as DOORS and Cameo to generate, modify, and maintain system and subsystem specifications and develop architecture models for the system and subsystems. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to achieve desired outcomes that meet cost and schedule goals. The position requires a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Utilize systems engineering tools such as DOORS and Cameo to generate, modify, and maintain system and subsystem specifications.
• Develop architecture models for the system and subsystems.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical, Mechanical, Aero, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, STEM.

• Ability to travel.
• Final Secret security clearance required to start.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Quick learner able to rapidly adapt to new tools, processes, and technologies.

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in DOORS, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo and Data Hub.
• Understanding of basic missile system design principles.
• Experience with C++, Python, MATLAB.

Work Schedule & Remote

Pay & Benefits

Salary range varies by state. For most cities, the annual base salary ranges from $57,500 to $166,000. The role includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, educational assistance, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and an incentive plan.
