Job summary

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a full-time Systems Architect & Requirements Engineer to support programs at a facility in Grand Prairie, Texas. You will develop system architectures using MBSE, create models for current and future designs, define software interfaces, and support internal and external design reviews.

Responsibilities include conducting model-based performance simulations, coordinating with the requirements management team to ensure accurate subsystem models,

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. An interim clearance is required prior to start.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, math or physics
  • 2 years of professional experience or a related Masters degree.
  • Familiarity in DOORS, MATLAB, Python, MBSE using Cameo and Data Hub.
  • Ability to work onsite.

  • Supporting internal and external design reviews.
  • Performing system architecture design using SysML based tools.
  • Defining system functionality, including system states and modes.

  • Working with the requirements management team to ensure accuracy of the subsystem element model.
  • Coordinating with the team for modeling and simulation scenarios, and predicted performance.
  • Supporting system timelines and working with software and hardware teams.
  • Documenting system design and implementation for various use case scenarios.
  • Conducting model-based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on system performance and behaviors

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
