Job summary

Lockheed Martin RMS in Syracuse, NY is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer to join an Agile team working with hardware, software, subsystems and system engineering on radar signal processing systems. The successful candidate will have MATLAB modeling experience, and develop and verify requirements and testing across the product lifecycle.

This position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience with MATLAB modeling and radar/system requirements.
• Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD SECRET level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an Agile team with hardware, software, subsystems and system engineering on design, analysis, testing and verification of radar signal processing systems.
• Develop and verify system and software requirements and perform associated analysis and testing.
• Contribute to requirements development and verification activities.

The Work

Lockheed Martin RMS in Syracuse, NY is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer. In this role, you will work as a member of a collaborative Agile team with domain experts from hardware, software, subsystems and system engineering on the design, analysis, testing, and requirements development and verification of high performance Radar Signal Processing systems. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Radar Signal Processing, MATLAB Simulation Development, Requirements Development and Testing and Model Based System Engineering.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access and will require a government security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent technical discipline


• Minimum 2 years of Systems Engineering experience


• Experience with MATLAB modeling


• Experience developing system and software requirements and associated analysis and testing


• Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
