Job summary

Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This full-time role requires delivering engineering analysis, system design, and lifecycle support for DoD programs.

Responsibilities include evaluating portfolios, performing system tests, preparing technical documents, and presenting findings to leadership. Candidate must meet security requirements and communicate effectively with technical and management teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems engineering experience, including DoD environment.
• Strong understanding of software, OS, networks, storage and system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve program portfolios and systems engineering processes.
• Design and perform system-level tests to ensure performance meets specifications.
• Prepare technical documents defining system/subsystem characteristics.
• Develop management reports and present technical information to stakeholders.
• Validate systems and analyze results to support engineering decisions.
• Provide engineering support, training, and lifecycle support for programs.
