The DHS CBP Program Management Office Directorate (PMOD) serves as the Independent Test Authority (ITA) for CBP acquisition programs and requires comprehensive systems engineering and test and evaluation (T&E) support. SimIS seeks a Systems Engineer to conduct comprehensive systems engineering trade studies and technical analysis to support CBP's mission of achieving 100% border coverage through integrated surveillance technologies. This role requires expertise in border security technologies including fixed towers, mobile sensors, UAS, tunnel detection systems, and ground‑based sensors. The Systems Engineer develops system architectures, performs integration analysis, and creates technical documentation to support optimal technology deployment strategies across diverse border environments.
