AGE Solutions is looking for a Systems Engineer to support a DoD agency's cloud hosted environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for effective provisioning, operation, installation/configuration and maintenance of system hardware/software/related infrastructure.


• Provides technical support, guidance and hands-on delivery in the planning, implementation and ongoing operation of databases.


• Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.


• Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and regulatory requirements.


• Documents specifications, project plans, configurations, test plans and results.


• Depicts complex ideas, issues and designs to varied audiences; communicates project objectives, scope and status to project teams.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience:
  
  
  
  • Five (5) years of overall professional experience in the engineering field.
  
  
  • Five (5) years' experience in Oracle and/or SQL Server database administration and analysis support.
  
  
  • Experience supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

  • US Citizenship is required.
  
  
  • Must have and maintain a current DoD SECRET security clearance.

  • Must have one of the following IAT II certifications:

    • AWS CDB Specialty, AWS CSA Associate, AWS CSA Professional, AWS CS Specialty, AWS CSO Admin Associate, MCA: DS, MCA: SQL Server, MCM: SQL Server, MCSA/MCSE, or OCP
    
    
    
    
  
  
  • Skills:
    
    
    
    • Fully trained and experienced with Windows Server 2016, HP-UX, Oracle/SQL databases, database performance tuning, database design, backup and recovery, system analysis, documentation, and security practices.

Work Environment and Physical Demand:

Compensation: $115,000 - $125,000
