Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer to support design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection-based systems. The role covers hardware, software, network, and RF components within mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate has RF and signal processing foundations and can collaborate across a multidisciplinary engineering team to meet technical and mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of Systems Engineering experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering science, engineering management, or a related technical discipline.
• Five (5) additional years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection-based systems.
• Contribute to systems engineering activities across hardware, software, network, and RF components to ensure operational performance and interoperability.
• Assist in the development and integration of RF and signal processing systems for communication system applications.
• Support system requirements analysis, architecture development, verification, and validation activities.
• Participate in system integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation to ensure compliance with technical and mission requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including system engineering artifacts, test plans, interface control documents, and configuration management records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support lifecycle sustainment activities.
