Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Systems Engineer in Seal Beach, CA. You will lead systems engineering teams across space programs, drive requirements through CDR, and develop architectures, CONOPS, and mission analysis to enable successful operations.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, a solid engineering degree, and strong leadership skills. You’ll oversee I&T, ICDs, MBSE, and RF analysis while coordinating cybersecurity efforts and risk management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering teams across space systems and related programs.
• Drive requirements decomposition, verification, and systems engineering processes through Critical Design Review (CDR).
• Develop system architectures, architecture concepts, and Concepts of Operations (CONOPS).
• Lead end-to-end systems engineering activities, including mission analysis, fault management, and autonomy.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute System Integration and Test (I&T) activities.
• Develop and manage intersegment test plans, including demonstrations and test bed utilization.
• Define and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs) between space and ground segments.
• Lead Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), specifications development, and requirements management.
• Provide technical leadership for Requirements and Verification (R&V), Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT), platform systems engineering, and payload/RF payload systems engineering.
• Oversee RF analysis, including G/T, EIRP, gain/loss, and phase noise, as well as RF unit specification development.
• Maintain responsibility for cybersecurity activities and coordinate with Information System Security Managers (ISSMs) and Information System Security Officers (ISSOs).

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $90.00 - $112.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
