Job summary

REGENT is seeking a Systems Engineer to own the requirements foundation for the Seaglider program. You will author, manage, and verify system requirements derived from regulatory documents, ensuring traceability through design evolution and across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.

You will conduct Functional Hazard Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and FMEA, supporting certification and audit readiness while collaborating with team leads to strengthen REGENT's engineering processes and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering safety-critical system requirements in regulated industries such as aerospace, maritime, medical or nuclear.
• Ability to author, trace, and maintain technical requirements across development lifecycles.
• Experience conducting system safety analyses (FHA, FTA, FMEA) and obtaining regulatory traceability.

Responsibilities

• Derive and verify system, high-, and low-level requirements with traceability to regulatory sources.
• Develop and oversee verification programs to confirm requirements are met.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide design input and resolve interface challenges.
