Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration is seeking a Systems Engineer – Integration (26-363) based at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. The role supports senior DoD customers and the Missile Defense System, with on-site work at Colorado Springs and limited travel.

The candidate will integrate C2BMC hardware and software, conduct system checkouts, write test plans, and diagnose complex issues across distributed virtual environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 2 years experience; or Master's with 0 years; or PhD with relevant work.
• DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher at time of application.
• Active in-scope DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
• Willingness to travel 10% for business needs.
• 0-2 years of experience as a system integrator or administrator.
• Domain expertise in Networking, Linux, and/or Windows.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate C2BMC hardware and software into testbeds and operational systems.
• Conduct full system checkouts of virtual machines, networks, and message flows.
• Collaborate with internal and external entities across the Missile Defense System to test, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Author test plans and procedures.
• Write Problem Reports to document issues.
• Provide feedback to Developers.
• Create and modify scripts to extract information from log files.
• Perform data analysis of input/output and internal message traffic.
• Operate and troubleshoot C2BMC systems during test events and integration activities.
