Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an Oxford, NC-based advanced manufacturer to hire a Systems Engineer who will shape scalable manufacturing operations. The role focuses on translating production needs into system requirements and guiding new production systems from testing through commissioning and handoff.

The successful candidate will blend hands-on process engineering with industrial systems analysis, developing flows, layouts, and models to improve throughput and equipment integration

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, systems, chemical, mechanical, or closely related engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of systems, process, or manufacturing engineering experience in continuous production.
• Experience creating PFDs, P&IDs, material or energy balances, production layouts, and 2D or 3D engineering drawings.
• Practical experience with throughput analysis, time studies, simulation, equipment sizing, and manufacturing troubleshooting.
• Understanding of system requirements, interface management, test planning, FMEA, and cross-functional engineering execution.
• Experience supporting capital equipment or production systems from concept and vendor selection through installation and commissioning.

Responsabilidades

• Define production processes, system architecture, equipment interfaces, and site layouts for automated manufacturing lines.
• Translate operating needs into measurable system requirements, specifications, verification plans, and subsystem interfaces.
• Evaluate equipment and technology options based on capability, cost, vendor readiness, maintainability, and scale-up risk.
• Develop process-flow documentation, material and energy balances, P&IDs, layouts, throughput models, time studies, and simulations.
• Plan pilot or sub-scale testing and lead multidisciplinary design reviews to resolve technical and performance risks.
• Verify system performance through acceptance testing, installation, commissioning, operational handoff, and lessons-learned reviews.
