VT Group (VTG) in Chantilly, VA is seeking Systems Engineers- Architecture at junior, mid, and senior levels. The roles involve developing system architectures, maintaining architecture views, and supporting governance and reviews.

Positions require TS/SCI with Poly, a technical Bachelor's degree, and progressively broader systems engineering and architecture experience for DoD/IC programs. Contingent upon program award.

Qualificações

• 1-4 years of systems engineering or technical architecture support experience.
• Exposure to architecture frameworks or modeling concepts (SysML, DoDAF).
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in development and documentation of system and segment architectures
• Support creation and maintenance of architecture views (operational, system, and technical)
• Assist with requirements allocation and traceability across architectural elements
• Support interface identification and documentation across system boundaries
• Participate in technical reviews and architecture working groups
• Maintain architecture artifacts, diagrams, and baseline documentation
• Develop and analyze end-to-end system architectures supporting mission objectives
• Define and manage interfaces, dependencies, and integration points across systems
• Allocate requirements to architectural elements and ensure traceability
• Support trade studies and architecture alternatives analysis
• Contribute to lifecycle and readiness reviews from an architectural perspective
• Support technical governance forums and architecture review boards
• Lead development of mission, system, and enterprise architectures
• Define architectural principles, standards, and constraints across programs
• Oversee allocation of requirements and interfaces across complex system-of-systems environments
• Lead architecture trade studies and technical risk assessments
• Support senior-level technical reviews, readiness assessments, and decision forums
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in architecture development
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to government program and enterprise leadership

What will you do?

Junior Systems Engineer- Architecture

• Assist in development and documentation of system and segment architectures

Junior Systems Engineer- Architecture

• 1-4 years of systems engineering or technical architecture support experience
• Foundational understanding of systems engineering principles
• Exposure to architecture frameworks or modeling concepts (e.g., SysML, DoDAF views)
• Ability to interpret and document system relationships, interfaces, and dependencies
• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline

Mid-Level Systems Engineer- Architecture

• 5-9 years of systems engineering experience with significant architecture development responsibility
• Strong understanding of systems architecture principles and lifecycle processes
• Experience developing architecture products (logical, physical, and functional views)
• Familiarity with modeling tools and structured architecture frameworks
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, integration, and mission stakeholders
• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree may substitute for experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting IC or DoD programs

Senior Systems Engineer- Architecture

• Bachelor's degree in in Systems Engineering, Engineering, or related technical discipline; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience with primary emphasis on architecture development
• Demonstrated experience leading architecture efforts for IC, NRO, or comparable national security programs
• Expert knowledge of systems architecture and lifecycle engineering
• Experience with system-of-systems architecture and enterprise integration
• Proficiency with architecture frameworks, modeling approaches, and technical governance
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $105,000 - $210,000 annually, which is a general guideline for and depending on the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range
