VT Group (VTG) is seeking an Architecture Enterprise Systems Integrator in Chantilly, VA. Architecture I–III roles cover analysis, integration, and leadership across mission threads, with a focus on aligning requirements, architecture artifacts, and integration roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • 1-4 years of experience supporting systems engineering, integration, or architecture efforts
  • Basic understanding of enterprise and system-of-systems concepts
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Preferred Qualifications: IC or DoD program experience; Architecture frameworks or structured engineering methods; Familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery environments

Responsibilities

  • Support analysis of system architectures, interfaces, and data flows across NRO environments
  • Assist with development and maintenance of architecture artifacts (architecture views, interface descriptions, integration diagrams)
  • Support traceability between mission requirements, architectural decisions, and system implementations
  • Participate in architecture working groups, integration forums, and technical reviews
  • Track architectural risks, issues, and action items
  • Support coordination between government stakeholders, mission programs, and development contractors
  • Analyze and integrate solution, system, and enterprise-level architectures across NRO threads
  • Develop and maintain architecture artifacts including system views, interface definitions, and integration roadmaps
  • Ensure architectural alignment across programs, vendors, and Agile Release Trains
  • Identify and manage architectural dependencies, risks, and integration impacts
  • Support architecture reviews, design assessments, and technical baseline governance
  • Advise program and technical leadership on architectural tradeoffs and integration considerations
  • Support Agile and SAFe execution from an enterprise architecture perspective
  • Lead enterprise and solution-level architecture integration across NRO mission systems
  • Serve as a senior architectural advisor to government technical leadership and program executives
  • Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and integration approaches
  • Resolve complex architectural conflicts, dependencies, and cross-program integration challenges
  • Guide alignment between mission requirements, architectural vision, and delivery execution
  • Support senior architecture reviews, milestone events, and executive briefings
  • Mentor junior and mid-level enterprise systems integrators
  • Support acquisition and source selection activities with architecture and integration expertise

Job description

Overview

VTG is looking for a Architecture Enterprise Systems Integrator in Chantilly, VA. (Note: Contingent upon program award).

Architecture I supports enterprise and solution‑level architecture activities by assisting with documentation, integration analysis, and coordination across NRO mission systems under senior architectural leadership.

Architecture II independently supports architecture development and integration across mission and enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with NRO architectural standards and mission objectives.

Architecture III provides enterprise‑level architectural leadership and integration oversight, advising NRO leadership on architecture alignment, integration strategy, and technical risk across complex mission environments.

What will you do?
Architecture I

Architecture II
  • 5-9 years of experience in systems integration or architecture support roles
  • Strong understanding of system‑of‑systems and enterprise architecture concepts
  • Experience coordinating across multiple programs or system owners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related field
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting NRO, IC, or DoD mission systems, Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., DoDAF‑style views or equivalent), Experience supporting cloud, data, or mission platform architectures
Architecture III
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Masters Preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise systems integration or architecture roles
  • Proven experience supporting complex system‑of‑systems or enterprise architectures
  • Strong leadership, advisory, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience operating in mission‑critical, highly regulated environments
  • Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience supporting NRO or IC enterprise architectures, Experience integrating legacy, cloud, and data‑centric architectures, Familiarity with Agile at scale (SAFe), solution trains, and enterprise governance, Experience supporting architectural roadmaps and long‑term modernization efforts

Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $110,000 - 195,000 annually, which is a general guideline for and depending on the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range
