Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of system development for safety-critical embedded avionics.
• Experience creating system test procedures, test cases and test scripts.
• Familiar with ARP-4754A aircraft systems lifecycle.
• Familiar with DOORS for requirements capture and tracing.
• Familiar with ClearCase for version control and configuration management.
• Familiar with ClearQuest for change requests.
• Familiar with MATLAB/Simulink for simulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Accountable and self-motivated with initiative.

This position is responsible for system verification activities for aircraft surveillance systems in accordance with ARP4754A systems development cycle and DO-178B software development cycle. These new and legacy aircraft surveillance systems include TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System), TAWS (Terrain Avoidance Warning System), ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast) and transponder systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science
• 3+ years system development of safety critical embedded avionics systems
• Experience developing system test procedures, system test cases and system test scripts
