Job summary

Real Time Consulting (RTC) in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Systems Engineer - Aircraft State to join a team focused on development, integration, and verification of core Aircraft State monitoring applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.

The ideal candidate will have aerospace experience, avionics requirements, validation and integration skills, plus proficiency in Simulink and Python for automated testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of Aerospace Industry experience.
• Experience in avionics systems requirement development.
• Experience in avionics validation.
• Experience in avionics integration.
• Experience in avionics verification.
• Experience with Simulink model-based systems design.
• Experience with Python scripting for automating testing.
• Experience working with sensors used for aircraft position and navigation (Air Data, AHRS, GPS, etc.).
• Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC, etc.).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountable and takes ownership of assigned tasks.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
