Job summary

AnovoRx in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Systems Engineer to oversee maintenance and security of intranets and computer systems. You will install security software, respond to user needs, and coordinate with leadership on new technologies to enhance systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related field; Masters preferred.
5–7 years of experience as Systems Administrator or equivalent.
Ideal certifications: MCSE, CompTIA Server+, RHCSA/RHCE, VMware certs.
Knowledge of Unix systems administration.
Strong problem solving, attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Maintain IT infrastructure including OS, security tools, servers, email systems, and devices.
Design, deploy, secure and support AI solutions and related platforms.
Lead projects; communicate status with internal and external partners.
Perform server administration, backups, patch management and audits.
Monitor data-center health and manage cloud resources (Azure, AWS, Google).
Provide technical support and assist help desk when needed.
Ensure reliability of networks, security updates and performance monitoring.
