Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is seeking a Systems Engineer to translate customer needs into total systems solutions across multiple engineering disciplines, including electro-hydraulic controls, hybrid and electric vehicle systems, and autonomous platforms.

You will establish system architecture, perform trades and analyses, and support verification planning and execution, collaborating with internal teams and key partners to deliver on time and satisfy program objectives.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with Internship experience or six (6) or more months of related work experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and releasing requirements specification documents and maintaining traceability.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and release requirements specification documents.
• Lead the creation of user need requirements and decomposition into system and subsystem requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functional with multiple disciplines to identify regulatory standards (e.g. FDA or IEC).
• Review and approve system and subsystem requirement documents to ensure user needs are met.
• Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform trades and analyses, and support verification planning.
