Lam Research Corp. is seeking a Systems Engineer in the Portland area to design complex frameworks for wafer fabrication equipment. You will define system specifications, integrate hardware and software, and drive the next generation of Lam initiatives.
You will lead multidisciplinary projects, manage supplier relationships, and develop test methodologies. A strong background in electrical architecture and automation is required.

As a Systems Engineer at Lam, you will design complex frameworks, systems, and products for our wafer fabrication equipment. You will define system specifications, requirements, parameters, and integrate hardware/software into a cohesive system. Your ability to identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses will help shape the next generation of Lam initiatives.
You will be part of a team responsible for the development and integration of new plating control technology into Lam deposition products. The team is responsible for the expertise and development of the core technology. This team will work with product teams to integrate and productize this technology.

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
