Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 / Scrum Coach to apply systems engineering to requirements, design, planning, and documentation while supporting SAFe/agile execution with the Product Owner for sprint reviews and PI planning. The role interfaces with government stakeholders, program personnel, and executives, ensuring technical integrity of all deliverables.

Position Summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 / Scrum Coach. This role applies systems engineering expertise to requirements analysis, system design, technical planning, documentation, and integration activities while also supporting SAFe/agile execution through collaboration with the Product Owner in preparation for sprint reviews, Inspect and Adapt sessions, and Program Increment (PI) planning events. The position interfaces with Government stakeholders, program personnel, and senior executives and is responsible for the technical integrity of assigned work and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong experience coordinating schedule-driven, project-level activities across multiple participants, such as Project Directors, Program Managers, and Test Leads.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to accurately synthesize and summarize complex technical information for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders, including Government teams, industry vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfort escalating issues to Government Leads, including ART Leads and CORs.
  • Proficiency supporting requirements validation activities.
  • Proficiency tracking schedules and anticipating logistical challenges.
  • Proficiency using ticketing systems, collaboration platforms, and dashboard tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps, assess risks, and recommend prioritization of test activities.
Required Education and Experience Equivalency
  • High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of experience.
  • Associates Degree with 12 years of experience.
  • Bachelors' Degree with 7 years of experience.
  • Masters' Degree with 5 years of experience.
  • PhD with 3 years of experience.
RequiredCertifications
  • Scrum Coach certification.
Required Security Clearance
  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
