Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer to support Linux, PKI/crypto, and SSP compliance in a government-focused environment. The ideal candidate holds TS/SCI with polygraph and has DoD 8570.01-M IAT II baseline certification.

Responsibilities include daily systems engineering tasks, cloud/containers expertise, and support for SSP/STN on Linux. This on-site role in Maryland requires U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related technical discipline required.
• Six (6) years of systems engineering experience.
• IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with TS/SCI clearance and favorable polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily systems engineering responsibilities.
• Support SSP compliance and STE/STN on Linux systems.
• Provide troubleshooting and application support as needed.

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who will assist with daily responsibilities.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in related technical discipline required.
• Six (6) years of systems engineering experience
• IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M

Required Skills:

• Containers/Cloud environments
• Storage Management
• IP networking and Firewall exp
• Solid understanding of PKI/TLS/crypto including crypto policies
• Exp w/ automation tools is a bonus
• Application support and general troubleshooting
• SSP compliance and STE/STN support on Linux systems

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
• Up to 20% 401k contribution (No Matching Required and Vested from Day 1)
