Job summary

Captivation Software, based in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Software Engineer 2/3 to join a mission-focused team. The role emphasizes Java/Git/Gradle/Docker/REST, with ELK, MongoDB and Ansible familiarity as desirable. This is a direct-hire position supporting U.S.

national security needs. Required TS/SCI security clearance with favorable polygraph, U.S. citizenship, and 14+ years SWE experience, plus a BS in EE/CE/CS.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
• A minimum of Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university is required
• ELK Stack, MongoDB, Ansible are desirable skills for this role
• Background developing front-end UI solutions in Angular/Typescript would be beneficial

Captivation Software is looking for a experienced Java developer to fill an opening on a small, mission-focused team.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university is required

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
