Job summary

Boeing is seeking multiple contract Systems Integration Engineers to support the MQ-25 Product Support Integration SEIT Team in Hazelwood, MO. This is a contract assignment through a Boeing-approved third party for the duration of the project.

The role involves systems engineering and integration activities across the MQ-25 scope and requirements management. A Bachelor of Science degree is required; active clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Active Secret security clearance preferred.
• Experience with MQ-25 or autonomous/military aircraft is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports day-to-day execution of systems engineering and integration activities across the MQ-25 Product Support scope of work.
• Contributes to development and integration of Deck Control Device, Aircraft Maintenance Device, and Program Loader Set including lab/on-aircraft testing.
• Supports requirements management and verification; ensures designs meet contractual requirements.
• Supports DMSMS management across the Product Support portfolio.
• Collaborates with SEIT Lead and senior engineers to address integration challenges and lead small teams.

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is actively seeking multiple highly motivated contract Systems Integration Engineers to support the MQ-25 Product Support Integration SEIT Team located in Hazelwood, MO. This position will support various systems engineering and integration activities across the BGS MQ-25 scope of work.

This is an exciting time to be a part of the MQ-25 program! The MQ-25 program is currently working the Engineering and Manufacturing Development of 9 flight vehicles and two full-scale test articles for the Navy. In 2021, the MQ-25 test airplane was the first autonomous flying vehicle to refuel a manned aircraft in flight.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supports the day-to-day execution of systems engineering and integration activities across the MQ-25 Product Support scope of work in support of the MQ-25 Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
• Contributes to the development and integration of the Deck Control Device (DCD), Aircraft Maintenance Device (AMD), and Program Loader Set (PLS) including support of lab and on-aircraft testing.
• Supports requirements management and verification activities across the Product Support organization. Works with product teams to develop and track system and subsystem requirements from inception through verification. Ensures that system and subsystem designs meet contractual requirements
• Supports Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) management activities across the Product Support portfolio. Coordinate across teams to identify and mitigate DMSMS/obsolescence issues
• Works closely with the MQ-25 Product Support SEIT Lead, other senior engineers and program management to address technical integration challenges across the program. Analyzes complex technical issues, proposes technically complete solutions, develops execution plans and works to proactively lead small teams to achieve a scope of work.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Active Secret security clearance
• Experience on MQ-25 or other autonomous or military aircraft
• Experience with requirements management and verification
• Experience with and/or domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation
• Systems Engineering experience using tools such as DOORS, CAMEO, JIRA, Windchill, VersionOne, BORIS, and other common tools.
