Job summary

DCCA is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 in Maryland to support mission-critical systems for government and commercial clients. An active TS/SCI with Poly is required, with extensive SE experience and a strong hardware background.

The role focuses on hardware integration, systems testing, and lab management to sustain and advance next-generation deployments. Ideal candidates will have experience with Dell servers, NVidia GPUs, NICs, switches, and optical recorders, plus strong knowledge of network

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; five years of additional SE experience may substitute.
Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Hands-on System Engineering supporting a mission critical system with requirements management, data management, and testing.
Strong hardware background to integrate, optimize, and test next generation hardware (Dell servers, NVidia GPUs, NICs, switches, optical recorders).
Hardware includes but is not limited to: Dell servers, NVidia GPUs, network interface cards, network switches, and optical recorders.

Responsibilities

Provide hardware integration efforts for software development tasks including testing various hardware configurations and bios settings.
Optimize optical switching to test servers and configure/maintain network switches for lab use.
Maintain 20-30 racks of equipment and rack/cable new hardware as needed.
Support lab management duties and provide hardware recommendations for future procurement.
