Akina Inc seeks a Systems Engineer to support the HPDA PMO, gathering data and producing critical documentation such as RVTM, TEMP, LCSP, and System Architecture Documents. This role applies systems engineering through all lifecycle phases and coordinates with Government and senior executives to maintain technical integrity and quality in deliverables.

The position emphasizes liaison with government stakeholders, adherence to ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, and extensive lifecycle activities

Responsibilities

• Support the HPDA PMO by gathering data and generating critical systems engineering documentation (RVTM, TEMP, LCSP, System Architecture Documents).
• Apply systems engineering principles through all life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, Retirement.
• Interact with Government on systems engineering technical considerations and issues.
• Ensure technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables across ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
• Cover activities: requirements definition, analysis, architectural design, implementation, verification, transition, validation, operation, maintenance, disposal.
• Include project planning, assessment and control, risk, configuration, information, measurement, and lifecycle management activities.
• Address acquisition and supply as part of lifecycle management.

Description:

Support the HPDA PMO with gathering data and generating critical systems engineering documentation such as Requirements Verification, Traceability Matrix (RVTM), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), System Architecture Documents, and others as needed.

Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.

Interact with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts.

Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.

• Gather data and generate critical systems engineering documentation such as Requirements Verification, Traceability Matrix (RVTM), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), System Architecture Documents and others as needed.
• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
• Be responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.
• Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
• Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.

SE-2 Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).

A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.

A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Salary Range: $137k-$168k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
