The University of Miami Information Technology & Systems Department is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer 2 to manage day-to-day operations of imaging workflow, archiving, and data exchange across systems. The role coordinates with clinical staff to ensure secure, accurate interfaces and oversees development efforts for integration solutions.

Responsibilities include on-call issue resolution, testing interfaces, and supporting Epic-related implementations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure.
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common software tools.
• Epic software experience or exposure is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Documents all interface requirements and limits data to downstream systems.
• Participates in on-call and leads issue resolution independently.
• Develops test scripts and validates interfaces with the implementation team.
• Leads vendor meetings to define requirements and architect integration solutions.
• Acts as technical expert in specialized applications systems analysis and programming.
• Assists with planning, coordination, and implementation of Epic suite applications.
• Tests and debugs new programs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintains simple webpages and web services for interfaces.
• Troubleshoots production issues and provides problem-solving expertise.
• Supports clinical end-users, vendors, and clinicians with interfaces and data exchanges.
• Ensures data processing methods meet standards and formats.
