Job summary

Captivation is seeking a hands-on DevOps professional in Maryland to join a mission-driven team. The role involves troubleshooting, systems engineering, and providing rotational on-call support as needed.

Expect collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will bring TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent SE experience, and deep expertise in Linux, Kubernetes, VMware, and storage technologies.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favourable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.
• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programmes and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Description

Captivation Software is looking for a hands‑on DevOps professional with strong troubleshooting skills. The candidate may be asked to provide future call‑in support to back up team on a rotational basis.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favourable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programmes and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
