Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid level systems engineer to assist with daily responsibilities in support of a mission to protect the country. This role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph and U.S.

citizenship, and fourteen years of SE experience (or five additional years in lieu of a degree). Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with Confluence/JIRA, requirements gathering, sprint planning, and customer/DevOps coordination.

Qualifications

Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Experience using Confluence and JIRA; requirements gathering and documentation; engaging with customers and developers; managing sprint planning and retrospectives; facilitating internal meetings; communicating status and priorities with customers; coordinating with DevOps to capture tasks in JIRA.
